Cycling tourism, ANCMA: green light for the cycling mobility plan, development opportunities for the supply chain

Regarding the green light from Unified conference al General plan for cycling mobility, Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle and Motorcycle Accessories) underlines in a note: “satisfaction and gratitude for the outcome of the collective work carried out by the associations, the ministry and ANCMA, because this document lays solid foundations for making our country a primary destination for cycle tourism in Europe and creating development opportunities for the entire supply chain connected to reception and cycling".
The news
Among the main measures of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility, funding, already assigned, corresponding to 943 million euros out of a total value of 1,2 billion, as mentioned, is foreseen for the general cycling mobility plan.
The note further highlights how the plan poses: “a strategic watershed between the past and the future and marks that transition from a logic of incentives for purchase to one of incentives for use that the relevant industry also hoped for”. An Italian potential that can be fully exploited, as indicated on the occasion.
