Ciapa la Moto: the Road Racing Night to celebrate Ian Hutchinson

Ciapa the Motorcycle organize another interested meeting for Saturday 27 October. Starting from 20 pm, it will take placeRoad Racing Night“, an event organized together with Road Racing Core, BER Racing Europe, Arai Helmet and which will have the main protagonist Ian Hutchinson, 16 times winner at Tourist trophy.

Road Racing Night: the event

The 16-time winner of the Tourist Trophy, Ian Hutchinson, is ready to meet the fans and enthusiasts who will flock there to hear all the exploits told by this iconic road racing character, starting from the first TTs won in 2007 and 2009 and the famous "5 out of 5" in 2010, a record never replicated until now. Then, after the terrible fall during a BSB race with the risk of amputation of his left leg, the 17 operations, the failure to return to the 2011 TT, Hutchinson was the victim of a new injury to the same leg in 2012, but the rider did not he never gave up. He returned in 2013 at the Macau GP, winning immediately; he returned to the TT and in 2015 he achieved a hat-trick in Superstock, Supersport 1 and Supersport 2. The following year he scored three more TT victories, bringing his total to a frightening 16 in 2017. Just during last year's Senior TT , however, a fall on the Mountain put him out of action again for a year and again affecting the usual left leg. A nightmare for anyone, but a nightmare from which Hutchy emerged once again with his head held high, returning to race in the Tourist Trophy as early as June 2018, leaving his crutches in the paddock and getting on his Honda.

Road Racing Night: when and where

The appointment with Ian Hutchinson is for Saturday 27 October, starting at 20pm, at Ciapa la Moto (c/o Motosplash), in via Gardone 22 in Milan. During the evening, the book "Road to Racing" by Marta Covioli and Diego Mola will be presented, as well as a lottery with fantastic prizes: the first prize up for grabs will be none other than an Arai X-Chaser Hutchy Replica helmet. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on site during the evening. Road Racing Core will be present with "Road to Racing" merchandising and book.
