CFMoto 700CL-X Adventure: explore with retro style [PHOTO]

The new CFMoto 700CL-X Adventure is part of the proposal scrambler 700CL-X, together with the specimens Heritage e Sport. The characteristic retro features remain, mixed with aspects that are more reminiscent of the off-road sector such as a raised front mudguard and handlebars, disengageable ABS and the use of off-road tyres. The motorbike is equipped with a propulsive heart optimized to tackle even unpaved routes.

The motorcycle

The retro aesthetic is livened up by the new color Aurora Blue and the bike features full LED headlights and "X" styling features connotative of the CL-X design. We also notice details that link this vehicle to the off-road world: the handlebars and the front mudguard are raised as mentioned above, then we also notice a windshield, an upper protection of the tank (13 litres) painted matt with internal decals, a soft saddle quilted leather, an integrated seat cushion and spoked wheels. The saddle is combined with an aluminum passenger handle and the seat is placed at a height of 835 millimeters. 
The instrumentation is digital on an LCD screen and the brightness of the display is adjustable on five levels and allows selection between STREET and OFF ROAD driving modes.
The screen provides an overview of various information, including a Cruise Control indicator. Among the features we highlight, in addition to the aforementioned Cruise Control, an ETS system or equally known as Ride by Wire, the already mentioned ABS which can be deactivated (using a button located on the control block on the left), anti-slipper clutch and a USB socket located in the compartment under the saddle. The equipment also includes a T-box, which allows you to check the conditions of the vehicle in real time via the App.
There are also equipped side bags, which can be purchased separately as an original accessory.

Technical aspects

The motorcycle features a chrome-molybdenum alloy frame with an aluminum alloy swingarm. The suspension part is made up of a KAYABA front solution with upside-down fork legs with a diameter of 41 mm, adjustable in preload and compression hydraulics via a wheel on the right leg and in extension through a control visible on the left leg. The travel reaches 150 mm. At the rear there is a single shock with adjustable preload and hydraulics, with 58 mm of travel. The braking system, then, includes a 320 mm diameter front disc and another 260 mm diameter disc at the rear, as well as a dual-channel ABS system. The spoked wheels measure 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear and are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires with dimensions 110/80 R18 M/C and 170/60 R17 M/C. 
The bike extends for 2.105 mm, it appears wide 892 mm is tall 1.290 mm. The wheelbase reaches i 1.435 mm and the empty mass is: 194 kg.

Motor

All projects CFMoto 700CL-X Adventure is combined with a propulsive heart from 693 cc water-cooled and optimized for off-road use, as mentioned. A drive unit combined with a six-speed gearbox.
The power reaches a peak of 70,1 horses (51,5 kW ) at 8.500 rpm and the torque is 60,9 Nm at 6.500 rpm. A maximum speed of 180 km/h can be reached.
