Cerberus Eagle 1, a sports car with a green heart

Brushless motor with removable batteries with 90km of autonomy

Electric mobility, ecology and exploitation of alternative sources are all new design trends that are essential for the future idea of travel. In this context, the development and diffusion of eco-compatible technologies is the commitment of Cerberus, a small Sicilian company focused on the production of pedal-assisted electric bikes, electric scooters and also electric motorcycles; cutting-edge, hi-tech components but also safety and performance on the road.

Eagle 1 it is an electric motorbike presented in autumn at Eicma 2013 and proposed again with a Motodays 2014; a sports motorcycle that does not disdain a certain practicality in everyday use, thanks to the side cases and a useful compartment created under the fake tank. No petrol therefore, only electrons accumulated in removable lithium-iron-phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) 72 V and 50 Ah (designed for more than 1300 charging cycles); charging time is approximately 8 hours.

The engine is a 5000W brushless kept under control by a programmable control unit, and is able to push the Eagle 1 up to 110 km/h. It is supported by a double beam frame connected at the rear to a box-type swingarm. The suspensions chosen for this electric motorcycle are one traditional hydraulic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Small section tires were chosen from the project, with the aim of sacrificing a bit of appeal on the altar of energy efficiency; therefore, the size chosen at the front is a 100/60 R17, while pushing there is a 110/60 R17. The brakes are disc with double and single piston calipers.

In addition to being versatile and ecological, this motorbike is also very welcoming, it wants to be sporty but... driving position is comfortable, footrests and saddle are at the right height for all heights. The weight closes the circle of measurements, and thanks to the 160 kg it can be considered a light and easy to handle two-wheeler.
