Capit will be technical partner of MotoE
The Italian company will supply the tyrewarmers for all the motorbikes involved in the electric championship
The nascent full electric category of the MotoGP, the MotoE, finds a new ally, a partnership agreement with Capit has just been signed.
The new electric championship already counts on several important partners, such as: Enel (main sponsor), Energica for the supply of the motorbikes and Michelin for the tires and will now also be able to count on Capit which will exclusively supply its tyrewarmers to all the teams involved in the competition. In view of this collaboration, the Italian company has decided to develop a type of dedicated electric blanket which stands out above all for its extreme stability and uniformity of heating. This product, equipped with personalized Michelin graphics, was then available in two models: a TNT 85 °C tyrewarmer and a TNT 50 °C Rain, suitable in case of rain.
Stefano Cappelletti, founder of Capit Performance Srl, declared: “It is an honor for me to participate in this new adventure in the name of sustainable mobility. Capit has been moving in this direction for some time
paying attention to environmental issues. Our tyrewarmers, while determining a
improvement in performance on the track, in fact they record a 40% lower energy consumption compared to
many import products. Definitely an excellent result in terms of savings and respect for the environment.”
The first appointment with the MotoE will be on March 13th when the teams will take to the track in Jerez for the first test session in Jerez. The championship will begin in May, when the MotoGP will stop on the Andalusian track for the fourth stage of the season.
