Ohvale Italian Speed ​​Championship 2017

After the success recorded in the last 2 years, the Ohvale Trophy becomes the ITALIAN OHVALE GP-0 CHAMPIONSHIP in the CIV – FMI program, exclusive for the next three years like UNIQUE 10″ 4T ENGINE MOTORCYCLE in the program CIV JUNIOR.

The OHVALE GP-0 Championship has always had the objective of training, educating and developing young drivers for a gradual transition to the subsequent categories, enhancing their qualities through FMI certified technical and sporting regulations and the sole use of sealed engines.

It is organized into two starting grids divided by age groups with motorbikes:

- OHVALE GP-0 110 4 speed (4-stroke geared engine) class from 8 years old to 14 years old
- OHVALE GP-0 160 4 speed (4-stroke geared engine) class from 10 years old to 17 years old
- OHVALE GP-0 190 DAYTONA (4-stroke geared engine) class from 12 years old to 25 years old

All three categories will compete on the circuits of:

Round 1: April 30 – Varano de' Melegari racetrack (PR)
Round 2: May 28 – Franciacorta International Autodrome (BS)
Round 3: June 18 – Modena Autodrome (MO)
Rounds 4-5: July 8-9 – Umbria racetrack (PG)
Round 6: September 3 – Vallelunga "Piero Taruffi" racetrack

It is therefore confirmed as a Championship that gives young people the opportunity to race on large tracks, a fundamental path for the growth and preparation of the driver.
Ownership of the Italian Championship means that all technical management and regulatory compliance checks are the responsibility of the CIV through the FMI commissioners. This is a further reason for seriousness and guarantee for a high-level championship, whose formula allows the challenge between drivers to emerge and enhance and train new champions.

The Ohvale GP-0 project was born from an idea of Valerio Da Lio, an entrepreneur linked to the motorcycle sector for over thirty years, in which he has always promoted the growth of young talents, the added value that also allows evangelization through sport.
