The first edition

Despite the problems related to the pandemic, the first season of this formula aimed at young people has attracted a lot of attention. For example, 20 pilots registered in the last event were reported. Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing, indicated on the occasion: “We have laid the foundations for an even better 2021: other new features will arrive soon, for the RS 250 SP, but not only that, we will also have something more powerful… It is an important first step to bring Aprilia back to filling the starting grids in various championships that help new talents grow. I can't wait to be able to welcome all the protagonists who occupied the podium positions to Noale, to congratulate them together with all the Aprilia Racing staff and let them know the place where our MotoGP bikes are born".

The last stage is in Varano. In the classroom Next Generation there were six contenders for the top in the final event. Thirteen-year-old Lorenzo Frasca won Race 1, also adding a third place in Race 2, thus obtaining 154 points in the standings and the category title. In the Sunday race Leonardo Abruzzo won, with his first victory of the season. In the general ranking this success allowed him to reach third place with 136 points behind Mattia Bosello, second in the overall ranking with 142 points.
Moving on to grouping Challenge, Daniel Da Lio confirmed his lead with another double and won the title with 186 points. In total six victories out of eight rounds played. After the young Venetian driver Samuel Treccani with 129 points and Yari Favero with 121.
The awards were presented by the Italian SBK Champion on the Aprilia RSV4 and MotoGP tester for Aprilia Racing, Lorenzo Savadori, who at the weekend gave support to the Championship riders together with Tommaso Marcon, already active in the development of the Aprilia RS 250SP used in the series and developed by Aprilia Racing in collaboration with Ohvale.
