Brembo: the evolution of the GP4-MS caliper with high performance on the road

The recent renewal of the caliper Brembo GP4-MS it responds to the needs of the latest motorcycles and enthusiasts looking for performance and sportiness to express safely on the road.

Available from 2023, the aesthetics of the new Brembo GP4-MS caliper is accentuated by the nickel surface finish, achieving brightness and smooth surfaces, also thinking about longevity, resistance and performance on the road. Among the various aspects, the new Brembo logo is mentioned.

With the renewed version the range is extended with the introduction of a version with 108 mm fixing for Japanese sports cars. The rib in the front area surrounds four aluminum pistons and guarantees maximum rigidity to the system, providing a strong feeling of safety and reliability. Factors such as resistance and performance, even at high temperatures, are supported by the nickel plating treatment that distinguishes the overview of Brembo GP4s.
Highlighted, then, is the introduction of ventilation fins in the external area, optimizing the heat exchange of the braking system for the benefit of cooling. An operation possible thanks to the circulation of air due to the movement of the vehicle and, in particular, the movement of air due to the rotation of the brake discs and the wheel.

The Brembo GP4-MS brake caliper was created for road use, characterized by the latest technologies, the most innovative processes and materials, also recalling the company's profound experience in the world of competitions. Like the Brembo calipers used in the MotoGP, the new version of the Brembo GP4-MS is the result of machined from solid aluminium, combined with monobloc technology. Compared to braking solutions developed by casting, this process allows the use of materials with better mechanical characteristics, greater resistance even in extreme operating conditions, for an improvement in the performance of the entire braking system without affecting the duration, as reported.
