A conceptual evolution of the radial pump Brembo is represented by the new one 19RCS Corsa Corta RR. A brake pump which recalls the solution adopted in two-wheel competitions and characterized by several innovations.

A sporting type

The solution presents the new Brembo logo and its adoption allows you to improve the performance of the braking system of large or medium-sized motorbikes. It will be available starting in 2023, as suggested.
Includes a RCS system (Ratio Click System), adopted 15 years ago on the Brembo 19RCS radial pump, which allows you to adjust the center distance of the pump to the value “18” or “20” by rotating the adjuster located on the front of the guide lever by 180° using a screwdriver. You can see the eccentric system, red on 18 mm or black on 20 mm, which shifts the distance between the fulcrum point and the application point on the pump tip by 2 millimetres. A different distribution of braking force is emphasized, without a change in terms of pure power.
The adjustment system allows you to achieve optimal sensitivity with your motorbike and adapt the braking performance based on the vehicle, your riding style, as well as the road surface and climatic conditions, counting on three brake master cylinders in one. Taking advantage of the mix linked to the variation of the wheelbase from 18 to 20 and the three maps Normal (N), Sport (Self Race (R), you arrive at six different combinations.

The lever group can be changed without the RCS (Ratio Click System) being dismantled from the pump, leaving the calibrations carried out during assembly in the Brembo Racing workshop unchanged, according to the instructions.
Machined from solid, like the systems used in the MotoGP and WorldSBK, the new Brembo 19RCS Corsa Corta RR brake master cylinder has been visually modified to be lighter and similar to the racing types. The finish is hard oxidized in titanium grey, guaranteeing the body resistance to wear and smoothness, also resulting in a darker shade than the version that preceded it given the type of treatment. The float and the seals are similar to the systems used in MotoGP, as are the seats of the bleeding and feeding system, which facilitate the action, inclined by over 30°.
Although the appearance has changed, the lever retains the possibility of adapting the position of the "bite point" braking attachment point to the chosen driving feeling, via a selector located on the upper part of the master cylinder and easily accessible.

As mentioned, the selector uses an eccentric device to select between three different maps: the Normal map (N) provides a position of the attachment point such as to guarantee a more gradual initial phase and is suitable for city driving or braking in situations where adhesion is poor; with the Sport map (S) the position of the attack point allows the initial phase to be shortened compared to the previous N setting with a more dynamic response and livelier driving; in the case of the Race (R) map, the initial phase is further shortened to a minimum value equal to that of the pumps used in the MotoGP, reaching the braking attack point in an instant.
