Brembo: the expansion of the headquarters at Kilometro Rosso

The braking system specialist will continue to maintain the current spaces at Red Kilometer, where the offices and research laboratories are located. The conclusion of the purchase of the Italcementi complex is expected by 2023, according to information.
The modern-style building, located at the northern end of Kilometro Rosso, was designed by architect Richard Meier and developed in 2012. The entire complex in which the structure is present stands on a total surface area of ​​23.000 square meters, as specified.

Speaking of architectural aspects, the building is an example of fine aesthetics combined with high functionality, observing the use of glass to give shape to a suggestive contrast between the transparency offered by the glass and the consistency of the concrete, in addition to the peculiar shape "arrow".
Equally interesting are the qualities related to sustainability, given one LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum, the highest building evaluation standard for energy and environmental efficiency. A result linked to the materials used and the use of renewable energy, given the presence of a geothermal system and solar and photovoltaic panels.
