Brembo: acquisition of SBS Friction A/S completed

Brembo, through a new press release after that of last November 17, 2020, reported that it has defined the acquisition of the Danish company SBS friction, specialized in the development and production of brake pads made of sintered and organic materials for motorcycles.

The announcement

The acquisition, aligned with the new mission of “solution providers” connected to Brembo, it allows you to integrate a strategic component such as brake pads into the Brembo product range, with attention to the environment and further strengthening its leadership in the motorcycle sector.
According to the information, the total disbursement for the operation amounts to 224 million Danish crowns, approximately 30,1 million euros, paid using available liquidity and is subject to the usual adjustment mechanisms foreseen for similar operations. The value of the transaction (enterprise value) is equal to 300 million Danish crowns, which corresponds to approximately 40,3 million euros.
