Brembo: acquisition of J.Juan completed

After the press release of 28th April last, Brembo announced that it had defined theacquisition di J. Juan, a Spanish company operating in the development and creation of motorcycle braking systems.

Brembo SpA is a global giant in the field of disc braking system technology, high performance braking systems, as well as clutches and components for the racing sector. He has achieved prestigious goals in the sports sector with successes in over 500 world championships. It is a supplier of the major international manufacturers who deal with cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. This company operates in 15 countries on 3 continents, taking into account 26 production sites and commercial offices, as well as the collaboration of over 11.000 people.
With this operation, Brembo continues a path that projects it towards a role of Solution providers. The acquisition of J.Juan allows the Group to complete the proposal of solutions for the motorcycle braking system and expand the family of brands in the sector.
The overall outlay was 73 million euros, as indicated. This is paid using available liquidity and is subject to the usual adjustment mechanisms envisaged for similar transactions, which will be completed in the next 80 business days.
