BRABUS 1300 R it is a result of the collaboration between the German company and KTM. In a video, proposed by KTM on YouTube, the characteristics of the limited edition motorcycle are summarized.
The first BRABUS two-wheeled model
Various elements of the specimen are highlighted in the video. The first BRABUS motorcycle is a naked recognizable by a distinctive and bold design, but at the same time the color contrasts present underline its marked elegance. An exclusivity also highlighted by a plaque and the materials used. They are expected in total 154 unit of which 77 in robe Magma Red and other 77 in Signature Black.
BRABUS is a company that has been operating in the customization of high-end cars since 1977 and is also active in the nautical sector. This new project represents an expansion that reaches the panorama of exclusive two-wheelers.
Among the technical aspects of the model we highlight a WP Pro Components steering damper, a WP APEX 7117 solution; a quick throttle control and five riding modes, being able to choose between Street, Sport, Rain, Performance and Track. The example is equipped with new second generation WP APEX semi-active suspension and it is possible to choose between six damping modes, choosing between Comfort, Street, Sport, Track, Advanced or Auto mode, with automatic adaptation.
Present aLC8 twin-cylinder unit and the power reaches i 180 horses at 9.500 rpm with a torque of 140 Nm at 8.000 rpm.
Various carbon fiber components and BRABUS-branded parts can also be seen. These include: the headlight mask; the triple clamps still CNC milled as are the adjustable footrests; the air vents; the CNC milled adjustable front brake and clutch levers and the CNC milled oil reservoir and reservoir caps; a carbon tip; a custom heated seat with carbon passenger seat shell; the BRABUS Monoblock Z forged wheels and slip-on silencer with double exhaust pipe.
