Bosch and Ducati: a partnership in the name of safety
Bosch organized theoretical and practical activities during the last World Ducati Week
There was also Bosch among the protagonists of the tenth edition of World Ducati Week, which took place from 20 to 22 July at the Misano World Circuit named after Marco Simoncelli. The company was present with a series of theoretical and practical activities that took place over the three days to raise motorcyclists' awareness of the issue of riding safety, but always linked to the pleasure that only getting on a two-wheeler can give.
Bosch and Ducati
As announced for some time, the entire Ducati MY2018 range is equipped with Bosch safety systems and all the Ducati enthusiasts present at WDW 2018 had the opportunity to test them both through practical tests and through an innovative edutainment format. But that is not all. Bosch, in fact, supported the Borgo Panigale company also during the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) riding courses which proved to be a favorable opportunity to demonstrate the effectiveness of Bosch ABS on dry, wet, slippery and cornering. Furthermore, thanks to the DRE courses it was possible to learn theoretical notions on new safety technologies and riding style, as well as be fascinated by the moments dedicated to test rides of the Ducati and Scrambler range; among these the unmissable ride on the track aboard the new Ducati V4, equipped with a value-added function specially developed by Bosch for use on the track: braking slide control.
