Boccin Custom Cycles Archangel: at Motor Bike Expo two wheels become mystical
Internal exhaust on the left and a sword from the First World War are just two of the peculiarities of a unique motorcycle
Boccin Custom Cycles chose Motor Bike Expo to celebrate 10 years of activity and not to miss anything, he decided to bring to the Veronese event dedicated to Custom, theArchangel, a decidedly aggressive motorbike despite its name. We admired and discovered it thanks to the tour taken together with the owner of Boccin Custom Cycles, Lorenzo Boccin.
Boccin Custom Cycles Archangel
"The project was born together with a dear friend with whom we have collaborated over the years. The starting point is a 1967 Harley Davidson that this friend wanted to dedicate to his grandmother and called it Archangel, in reference to the Archangel Gabriel – Lorenzo Boccin told us -. The project has several peculiar characteristics. The internal mufflers, gear knob with the cross, the rear sword which is an original bayonet from the First World War which recalls the sword held by the Archangel Gabriel in classical iconography".
"The motorbike was born as a unique example - he added - It has a 1200 cc engine and the development required a fairly long incubation period, even if we needed less than two months to actually make it. The bike features only the rear brake which is controlled with the pedal on the right side, while on the left there are stock and clutch. The Archangel is regularly approved for road use because it follows the designs of the Harleys of the XNUMXs. The choice of color was made together with the owner and only later did we get some fuel pipes that went well with it. creating a motorbike involves many challenges, but the beauty is facing them and completing them".
