BMW Motorrad introduces him Smartglasses ConnectedRide, the innovative motorcycle glasses that feature the technology head up display already known in the automotive sector and project all relevant data, such as navigation, speed and gear, directly into the driver's field of vision in real time, thus enabling driving with advance information and therefore safer.

Connectable to your smartphone

The ConnectedRide Smartglasses from BMW Motorrad can be easily connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth and app. The projection can be positioned and settings can be selected before riding and also during riding via the multicontroller on the handlebars of the motorcycle.

Comfortable and adaptable

In addition to the customized user interface and increased driving safety, the smartglasses also offer a high level of comfort, being able to be adapted to numerous helmets and face shapes, which makes them comfortable to wear even during long journeys. The glasses have a lithium ion battery that allows up to ten hours of operation.

BMW Motorrad also supplies two sets of UVA/UVB certified lenses with the frame. One set of lenses is 85% transparent and can especially be used with helmets with an integrated sun visor. The other set has colored lenses that turn the smartglasses into a pair of sunglasses.

For riders who wear glasses, the lenses can be ground and adjusted to the required visual acuity (up to a maximum of 4 diopters) by an optician using an RX adapter. For those who wear contact lenses, smartglasses can be used normally. The set offered by BMW Motorrad also includes a glasses case and a USB charging cable.
