BMW S 1000 RR: Open Day on June 1st at BMW Motorrad dealerships

Official launch for the new one BMW S1000RR in all Italian sales points linked to BMW Motorrad and a Open Day reported for the day 1nd June.

The quality characteristics

Streamlined lines and a beating heart a four cylinders, the push of the new BMW S1000RR is higher than 8 horses compared to the previous generation, now reaching i 207 horses compared to a weight scaled from 208 to 197 kg. Four driving modes available, varying between “Rain”, “Road”, “Dynamic” e “Race”; while optional are the “Pro Riding Mode”. Precisely three programs that can be managed Race Pro 1-3, to carry out specific interventions on different parameters such as engine braking, power delivery curve, Dynamic Traction Control DTC, ABS e anti-wheelie control. The project is refined in various aspects, the engine becomes the supporting and stressed element of the project, amplifying the action. The leverages Full Floater Pro regarding the rear suspension have been designed with a clear increase in performance in mind, always following the indications provided.
The new inline four-cylinder engine is also lighter than 4 kg compared to the previous unit, enriched by the adoption of the innovative technology BMW ShiftCam linked to the operating times of the intake valves and interventions on the geometry of the air intakes and exhaust. Also reported is the adoption of a lightweight exhaust system 1.3 kg and the revisiting of the air intake channel. The numbers start by 19.550 euroaccording to the instructions.
