In the video proposed by BMW Motorrad a dedicated summary is offered. The evolution of the specimens BMW R nineT it is highlighted by the colours, technical solutions and reported options.
Listed of standard and optional paint finishes including one “GS 40 Years Edition” di R nineT Urban G / S limited edition and distinguishable by the combination of black and yellow which recalls the R 100 GS coinciding with the 40th anniversary of GS.
Also highlighted are Riding Modes Pro with the additional “Dyna” modes for the R nineT and R nineT Pure models and “Dirt” connected to the R nineT Scrambler and R nineT Urban G/S, available as individual options, therefore solutions such as DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) and engine drag torque control (MSR). The Comfort package which includes heated grips, cruise control and Riding Modes Pro is also optional, again considering the information.
Among the extra single options we also mention the design of the optional silencer and the adaptive cornering light and then the characterizing "Option 719" line with exclusive creations, choosing between packages of milled parts or wheels of various types and, keeping in mind the range of Original BMW Motorrad Accessories, a rear modification with short end and license plate holder placed behind the wheel, therefore also a tracker-style end part.
Also distinctive are the white headlights and directional indicators equipped with LED technology, then a USB charging socket and an instrument with a newly designed circular dial with the BMW logo and "invisible" warning lights if not illuminated, as indicated, are also listed.

On a technical level, we note an ABS Pro solution in combination with DBC (Dynamic Brake Control), strengthening braking safety even when the bike is bent when cornering, and then a new shock absorber with travel-dependent damping (WAD) with functional manual preload adjustment of the spring and “Rain” and “Road” driving modes, always incorporating the characteristics listed.
The heart of the new R nineT models is boxer shorts 1.170 cc, defined through interventions on technical and visual fine-tuning, considering EU-5 approval. The maximum power is 109 horses (80 kW) at 7.250 rpm, previously 110 horsepower (81 kW) at 7.750 rpm, while the maximum torque remains 116 Nm at 6.000 rpm.
In the cylinder heads, a new turbulence system stands out which rotates the mixture to optimize combustion, evaluating a consistent and refined power and torque curve especially in the range between 4.000 and 6.000 rpm, as reported.
