BMW R 18: presented the new Akrapovič rear silencers for the model

New ones introduced Akrapovič rear silencers is preferably used for BMW R 18. A solution characterized by two rear silencers that are 97 millimeters more compact than the standard ones, coated in matt black and developed in stainless steel. The look is completed by a silver terminal that is adjustable in 90 degree steps.

Il BMW Motorrad Bobber Kit and new Akrapovič rear silencers designed for the BMW R 18 they define a sporty vision, given a particularly defined rear area and formed, together with the terminals, by a bobber-style BMW Motorrad Hommage single seat, a flat rear mudguard and a black license plate holder.

According to information, the weight of the Akrapovič rear silencers is reduced by one kg compared to the standard configuration, given a total value of 8,2 kg. The silencers, approved together with the complete vehicle, have been optimized for the engine “Big Boxers” da 1.802 cc and transmit a full-bodied and gritty sound, according to the indications.

From an aesthetic point of view, a stylized symbol of the BMW brand is highlighted in the center of the end cap and a heat protection plate in the area of ​​the manifold connection of the slip-on rear silencers.
