BMW R 18 Magnifica: an exclusive customization by Radikal Chopper for Officine Riunite Milanesi [PHOTO]

A new customization project of BMW R 18 was introduced during the premiere of the exclusive salon Monaco Top Brands. BMW R 18 Magnificent it is a creative result desired by Officine Riunite Milanese and entrusted to Andrea Radaelli di Radical Chopper. It represents an extreme reinterpretation characterized by artisanal details and quality materials.

Andrea Radaelli's talent has given shape to a sculpted, refined, unique example. The specimen BMW R 18 it was stripped of every part necessary for series production and redefined, keeping in mind the proportions between the front and rear. Almost all of the elements that characterize the R 18 Magnificent it was made by hand, including the brake discs and calipers.
The inclination of the forks is similar to the original one, but their appearance recalls vintage motorbikes, although the interior has current characteristics, defined with parts machined from solid. The rear area is in mahogany with a central part in polished stainless steel, furthermore the end part and the saddle constitute a single piece in suspension.

In the overall picture, the rims are an exception, machined from solid and machined with numerical control machines designed by Radikal Chopper. In short, the measurements, rims and tires have remained faithful to the original ones. The electrical system is also unchanged and the bike is around 100 kg lighter. The weight of the BMW R 18 Magnifica is around around 250-260 kg compared to 345 kg of the original model, according to information.

A result defined by hand with the use of various quality materials such as aluminium, wood and brass, as well as a particularly distinctive design.
