An overview of the model

Ne film proposed by BMW Motorrad Italy in which the different characteristics of the model are summarized, Mattia Dodi, Marketing & Product Manager BMW Motorrad Italia and Andrea Silva, Head of Communications and Public Relations BMW Motorrad Italia, intervene.
The bike is characterized by a new front fairing and distinctive headlights full-LED, also considering an upper section which is reduced in height. An aspect that allows the pilot to have a wider field of vision, also highlighting a more dynamic design. Returning to the new full LED headlight, with the "Adaptive Turning Light" option the light beam illuminates the curve based on the inclination of the vehicle. Bearing in mind new lighting modes, we also highlight a "Welcome" function, the "Goodbye" function and the "Follow me home" function as future additional options. In addition to the basic version in Alpine White 3, the model is also offered in the Style versions "Elegance", "Sport" and "Option 719". A new two-tone horn was also reported.
Also highlighted is a large screen TFT in color from 10,25 inches with integrated map navigation and connectivity, which includes a navigation map in the instrument panel without adopting an additional screen. There is also a new option "Comfort telephony with extended smartphone connection". A smartphone can be kept in a storage compartment protected from any splashes of water and assisted by an electric fan, with a battery supported through an inductive charging system or a USB connection. Also indicated is an Audio System 2.0.

Technique and technology

The example features a boxer twin-cylinder engine 1.254 cc with homologation EU5. The power reaches 136 horses (100 kW) at 7.750 rpm and torque 143 Nm at 6.250 rpm
Among the innovations is Dynamic Cruise Control (DCC) and a refined Active Cruise Control (ACC) is also mentioned as an option, associated with radar sensor technology. Also highlighted is a DTC Dynamic Traction Control which reinforces driving safety with robust traction and a new BMW Motorrad Full Integral ABS Pro. A combined braking solution which includes the simultaneous action of the brakes on both wheels, using the brake lever. brake on the handlebars or the pedal and taking into account the characteristics of the ABS Pro system depending on the dynamism.
There are three driving modes reported with a new "Eco" mode aimed at greater efficiency. The model can have "Riding Modes Pro" as an option with engine drag torque control (MSR), avoiding any situations linked to excessive deceleration of the rear wheel during the release or downshift phases.
