BMW R 1250 GS: the new 4-Track exhaust from Hp Corse arrives

Hp Racing presented the new exhaust 4-Track dedicated to the new BMW R 1250 GS, an element that changes the design but also the performance of the already excellent new engine of the propeller company's motorbike.

Let's go in order: BMW R 1250 GS features

One of the most important innovations of the new BMW R 1250 GS certainly concerns the engine. A twin-cylinder boxer with variable valve timing further developed with technology BMW ShiftCam which allows you to vary the valve timing and stroke on the intake side. This translates into greater power, distributed across the entire engine speed, and lower consumption. To quantify the improvement in power we have 136 HP at 7750 rpm and a maximum torque of 143 Nm at 6250 rpm against the 125 HP of the previous version and the 125 Nm of torque previously available. This is obviously also thanks to the increase in displacement which goes from 1170 cc to 1250. The drive of the camshaft also changes, first with rollers, now with a chain. The updates also include the new exhaust system and the BMS-O engine control system.

With the new 4-TRACK further improves driveability and increases power at low rpm. The exhaust is available in three different materials: Titanium, Satin Steel and Black Steel, and weigh: the first 3,470 kg while the other two 3,920 kg. It is equipped with a carbon cover that covers the fittings, has a length of 400 mm and is on sale at HP Corse dealers at the price of:
