BMW Motorrad: four successes and four other placings in the awards for the "Motorcycle of the Year 2023"

BMW Motorrad won several awards in the annual awards ceremony linked to the vote of the readers of the German magazine MOTORRAD, climbing to the top step of the podium four times and obtaining a total of eight placings in the ceremony held in Stuttgart.

Significant results for the Bavarian company, at the top of the categories “Sports Bikes”, “Tourers/Sport Tourers”, “Adventure/Touring” e “Power Nakeds”. Other placings on the occasion were also noteworthy, adding three second places and a third place. A notable response among readers even in the year of the hundredth anniversary.
A total of 25 readers participated in the 2023th reader vote on “Motorcycle of the Year 50.096” and the awards ceremony took place on March 20, 2023 in Stuttgart.
the powerful BMW M1000RR achieved success in the “Sports Bikes” category, dominating the grouping with 19,9% ​​of the votes. A result linked to the interesting alchemy between sportiness, technique and technological solutions of the model.
In the "Tourer/Sport Tourer" segment, the company triumphed R 1250 RS. The summit confirms this after the successes achieved in the past. The result is still linked to the overall quality and aptitude for tourism, obtaining 18,1% of the responses.
The notes are also highlighted BMW R 1250 GS e R 1250 GS Adventure with a notable percentage in the votes: 34,8%. The primacy in the respective and hard-fought segment was confirmed, a success also underlined by the almost 60.000 units sold of the R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure in 2022, as mentioned.
Also a winner M 1000 R, the second example signed M linked to BMW Motorrad, highlighted among the "Power Roadsters" with 15,4% of the preferences.
Among the other placings communicated, in the category "Scooter" the electric example came third BMW EC 04. Instead in the overview “Modern Classics” the R nineT placed second, as happened with the R18 in the category “Chopper/Cruiser”, the other example of the Heritage grouping.
Success was also achieved by BMW S 1000 XR, which also came second in the category “Crossover”.
