BMW Motorrad Urban Test Ride Tour 2016 – BMW Motorrad Italia, for the 2016 season, is organizing the Urban Test Ride Tour, a traveling event dedicated to urban mobility and the German brand's range of maxi-scooters. During the course of the event, which is divided into eight events in the main Italian capitals, it is possible to take an in-depth test ride with the protagonist of BMW Motorrad's urban mobility, choosing between the BMW C 650 Sport and the BMW C 650 GT.

The traveling event, in collaboration with BMW Motorrad dealerships, attracts scooter enthusiasts to the main Italian cities from 10.00 to 19.00, and allows not only to carry out in-depth test rides, but also to discover the peculiarities, performances and characteristics of the maxi-bikes. scooter thanks to a valuable briefing with an instructor.

With the new BMW C 650 Sport and BMW 650 GT, BMW Motorrad is continuing the premium vehicle series in the maxi scooter segment. Perfect for the city and the urban environment, the two models combine practicality and low running costs with the highest level of driving fun and touring comfort, also offering a sporting experience on extra-urban roads full of curves and on longer tours . The two maxi-scooters respond to two different concepts of use of the vehicle and allow the needs of a wide target to be met: the BMW C 650 Sport is dedicated to drivers with a sportier nature, while the BMW 650 GT was developed for customers who pay particular attention to comfort and an orientation towards touring.

The new BMW C 650 Sport and BMW 650 GT also meet these needs thanks to extensive modifications to the powertrain, more comfortable calibration and the new exhaust system for a more active driving experience. Even in the new maxi-scooters the in-line twin-cylinder engine with a displacement of 647 cc ensures dynamic thrust. The rated power of both models is 60 HP at 7.500 rpm. A power variant of 48 HP is also available, which can be recalled at 7.000 rpm. for new drivers For use in the new BMW scooters, the engine mapping has been defined from scratch in relation to the Euro 4 emission class standards. The new silencer also gives the vehicles a more dynamic look, develops a particularly robust sound and complies with the new ECE R41-04 noise standard.
