BMW Motorrad - For the fifth consecutive year BMW Motorrad will be among the protagonists of the Motor Bike Expo scheduled for next weekend at Verona Fiere.

In a stand completely renovated according to the "Make Life a Ride" philosophy, BMW Motorrad will exhibit the entire range of the Heritage world: the road R nineT, R nineT Racer e R nineT Pure, and the most “off-road” R nineT Urban G / S e R nineT Scrambler. The beating heart of the entire Heritage family is the characteristic air/oil-cooled Boxer engine which ensures all its classic driving pleasure. The longitudinally mounted boxer twin engine and shaft drive have been synonymous with BMW motorcycles for over 90 years. The air/oil-cooled BMW Motorrad Boxer engine with a displacement of 1.170 cm³ offers an unmistakable design, a rounded torque output and an original and unique sound like no other motorcycle engine.

With the launch of the Heritage range, BMW Motorrad has embraced the trend towards customization by creating, in 2017, BMW Motorrad Spezial: an ex-factory customization service in which you can modify your bike as you wish, thanks to a rich catalog of new original accessories. motorcycle directly during the assembly phase. The K 1600 B, the Bagger par excellence of the BMW Motorrad brand, was designed and created specifically to satisfy the desire for long road trips in complete comfort on a motorcycle that excites with every kilometer traveled on the asphalt. The “Black Storm metallic” color helps to enhance its typical Bagger shape and make it appear imposing and muscular at the same time. The contoured windshield and the characteristic rear section with LED indicators and integrated brake lights define its style. The black 6-cylinder heart completes the overall image of the bike's strong personality. 

The brand new K 1600 Grand America, just from its name, evokes boundless and evocative roads where you can get lost and find yourself. Even its profile is truly custom-built: from the high windshield to the characteristic rear with the easy-to-use topcase and backrest. Inside the BMW Motorrad stand, in an area set up specifically for this purpose, some special and unique models will be on display, created exclusively for BMW Motorrad such as BMW G 310 T - IED Design edition, the original Heritage style concept bike created by the Product Design students of IED Milan, based on the G 310 R roadster; BMW R nineT Scrambler “Hera”, the fascinating “luxury tracker” whose sinuous shapes were developed by the Milanese atelier South Garage in collaboration with Chop & Roll magazine; BMW R nineT Scrambler “Karl Maier”, original flat track version brought to the race at the last Wheels & Waves in Biarritz by speedway legend Karl Maier and BMW R nineT Urban G/S “Lac Rose Style”, a unique model that explicitly recalls the charm of the Paris-Dakar and the successes of the first G/S.
