BMW will therefore introduce many small measures that will further raise the quality level of the products offered. Starting from the comfort format direction indicators which will be included in the standard equipment of most BMW Motorrad models (with the exception of C 650 Sport, C 650 GT, G 310 GS, G 310 R, F 800 R, F 800 GT , S 1000 RR and S 1000 R). Depending on the permitted speed, various reset conditions will apply with the new comfort format turn signals; Previously, turn signal deactivation was based on a set time or distance. But that is not all. The BMW Motorrad Connected app will be updated to version 1.6 and will offer a series of additional functions and improvements developed following guidance provided by the BMW Motorrad community. The digital maps will be completely renewed and will be based on TomTom's optimized navigation for motorcycles. The “winding route” navigation option will also be introduced. To use the new features, the customer just needs to update the app at the beginning of August and download the new maps for free before embarking on a new journey.

BMW C650

Among the models that will be revised is the BMW C 650. The HP Motorsport paint (Light white / Racing blue metallic / Racing red coded "HP") and heated Pro seat will be introduced in the BMW C 650 Sport trim level. The color of the transmission changes from silver to black, while the Light White paint is no longer available. In the BMW C 650 GT version the Side View Assist can be deactivated via the configuration menu on the instrument panel and the BMW Motorrad Spezial will be introduced, a new paint Option 719 Sparkling storm metallic, available on request with brown saddle Option 719 (with heating ). Again the color of the transmission changes from silver to black and the Light White paint will no longer be available.

BMW S 1000

The BMW S 1000 R will have a new Black storm metallic paint and the new HP Style includes HP Motorsport paint (Light white / Racing blue metallic / Racing red coded “HP”) and wheels with red design lines. The Catalano gray and Lightwhite / Lupine blue metallic / Racing red paints are no longer available. The BMW S 1000 XR series has a new Triple Black style: Black storm metallic paint and black handlebars, while the matt Ocean blue metallic paint is no longer available. As for the BMW S 1000 RR, an HP battery with long-life lithium-ion batteries will be available as an option, with a weight reduction of approximately 2 kg compared to the conventional lead-gel battery and an integrated electronic system to protect against discharges, excessive charging times and thermal overload.

BMW K1600

Moving further up in displacement, the BMW K 1600 GT will have Hill Start Control Pro (HSC Pro) as standard which allows automatic activation when the brakes are activated for approximately one second beyond a standstill on a slope of at least +/ - 5% to facilitate stopping on slopes. The new Sport Style features Black storm metallic/Glacier silver metallic paint, a black transmission, a sport windshield, gold front brake calipers and a front/passenger seat with contrast stitching. The news on the Hill Start Control Pro will concern that the BMW K 1600 GTL which will now also be available in the new elegance style with Pollux metallic paint, chrome front fender brackets, chrome anti-slip deflectors and glove compartment lid finished in matt Monolith metallic. On the BMW K 1600 B there has been a reduction in the standard seat height of 30 mm to 750 mm, while the high seat (780 mm) will be available as an option. Furthermore, you can choose the new Imperial blue metallic color variant. Finally, the BMW K 1600 Grand America, in addition to the new Hill Start Control Pro (HSC Pro) and the lowered seat, will have a new additional speaker with amplifier for the rear audio system in the topcase, fader function (adjustment of the volume distribution between the front and rear) available as an option. Also in this case it can be purchased with the new Imperial blue metallic paint.

BMW R nineT

There are also many new features regarding the BMW R nineT series in its various versions. They range from the introduction of new paints and aesthetic details (such as the optional crossed-spoke wheels on the BMW R nineT Scrambler) up to the Dynamic brake light which will now be available as standard.
