BMW Motorrad: recall for some footrests attached to GS models

BMW Motorrad noted, during the monitoring processes, that in some cases it is possible for corrosive stress cracks to occur on the pins of some milled footrests from the selection of accessories for GS models. Hence the proposed replacement.

Footrests from the accessories catalog are available for specimens BMW R 1200/1250 GS, R 1200/1250 GS Adventure, F 750 GS, F 850 GS, F 850 GS Adventure.
BMW Motorrad offers free replacement of parts with footrests made of different materials to all customers who have purchased footrests with the following numbers:

77 25 2 452 958 Adjustable footrest, left, black
77 25 2 452 960 Adjustable footrest, right, black
77 25 2 465 256 Adjustable footrest set, black

When a replacement is not possible for the customer, the removal of the retrofit/conversion of the standard equipment and the refund of the purchase price in the form of a coupon are proposed.
Interested parties are advised to contact an authorized BMW Motorrad dealer or authorized workshop.
