BMW Motorrad: the new range of Urban Collection bags presented

BMW Motorrad offers solutions for two-wheeled transport like those Urban Collection, a new generation of tank bags, a backpack, side and rear bags, alongside the Black Collection.

Developed with quality materials, the bags are characterized by a 100% PA outer material with TPU coating, Then a 100% PES lining. They are solutions with a distinctive design, as well as being resistant and functional.

Three new bags that respond to different needs such as the tank bag Urban Collection Large (GS) 11 – 16 liters designed for motorbikes with a sloping tank, or the tank bag Urban Collection Large 11 – 16 liters designed for motorcycles with semi-circular tanks.
There is also the tank bag Urban Collection Small 5 litre, a third variant for compact transport.

All tank bags feature: opening for the charging cable and colored internal lining to amplify visibility; Water-repellent, lockable two-way zipper on main compartment and zippered lid pocket. For tank bags Urban Collection Large / (GS) There is also a waterproof and touch-capable transparent compartment. In any case, specific belt attachments are available separately.
Given a non-slip foam padding on the underside and a hook and loop fastener, the tank bags, with waterproof and removable inner bags, can reportedly be easily attached. Snap-in hooks at the front and rear make refueling easy, and the straps can also be attached to the roof rack or passenger seat.

Le side and rear bags Urban Collection Large from 16 liters and Urban Collection Small 10 liters are characterized by a waterproof main compartment, reflective strips to improve visibility and adjustable volumes through compression straps.

The design appears elegant and there are stowable handles and a large carrying handle. The main compartment has a colored lining that can also accommodate a helmet, while the adjustable straps with buckles improve grip. The zip is also functional to expand the volume from 50 to 60 liters or from 37 to 45 litres.

With a quick release system, the Urban Collection Large side bag can also be placed without straps and features a waterproof and removable internal bag with integrated key ring, a zipped compartment, a padded 15-inch laptop compartment, a smartphone compartment and a net for water bottle.

One is also proposed Urban Collection backpack which has a volume of 20 litres. A useful solution when tackling daily trips and with practical features. There are reflective strips that increase visibility, two external pockets for storing objects to keep close at hand, as well as a carrying handle and adjustable straps on the shoulder, chest and hips.

There is a waterproof main compartment with a rubberized and water-repellent two-way zip and a laptop compartment up to 15 inches in size. Also note a mesh pocket on the internal lid and a colored lining.
