Powered by safe driving courses start again BMW Motorrad Riding Academy. To promote safety on two wheels and satisfy the large number of requests, BMW Motorrad doubles its commitment in 2013 with the support of the official partners DueRuote Academy by ASC and “GuidarePilotare” by Siegfried Stohr.

The courses aim not only to provide technical knowledge and practical skills to riders, but to promote behavior that puts the value of safety on two wheels first, with attention to the vehicle, its reactions, its maintenance and the relationship with the other road users. All courses consist of a theoretical part in the classroom, in which the first notions are given regarding the rider's position in the saddle, behavior
dynamics of the motorbike and its reactions. Furthermore, some topics related to safety are explored in depth: from correct clothing to the use of driving aids such as, for example, ABS, ASC, DTC. We then move on to the dynamic part on the track, in which, always accompanied by expert and competent instructors, the exercises are carried out and the notions previously learned in the classroom are put into practice.

The DueRuote Academy was born from the experience of the Automotive Safety Centre, DueRuote and BMW Motorrad Riding Academy. Depending on your preparation and needs, it offers six types of courses with different levels of difficulty based on the student's experience. For motorbikes, four types of courses are scheduled (First, Basic, Advanced and One to One).

The Riding Academy courses at the Misano racetrack are organized in collaboration with GuidarePilotare. Motorcyclists can sign up for four different types of courses to learn the secrets of riding and improve their safety while riding a motorbike. Also in this case, the courses (Basic, Advanced, Evolution and One to One) are designed based on the motorcyclist's experience.

Both on the Vairano and Misano circuits, students will be able to use the vast range of motorbikes made available by BMW Motorrad such as the G 650 GS, F 700 GS, F 800 R, R 1200 R, K 1300 R, or participate with your motorcycle.

All information on costs, dates and methods of enrolling in courses is available on the website www.bmw-motorrad.it/academy.
