BMW Motorrad Italia: an event featuring custom cars for the R 18 Your Choice contest

At the end of the project R 18 Your Choice, a contest featuring dealers from the BMW Motorrad sales network engaged in the creation of custom motorcycles based on BMW R 18; BMW Motorrad Italia organizes an awards event followed by an exhibition to allow enthusiasts to admire these creations in the Mosaic Gallery of Milan Central Station, set up for the occasion.

The awards ceremony and the contest

Il 22nd June an exclusive gala evening is planned for a selected group of guests present at the premiere of 27 bikes defined during the contest. Between March and May the dealers involved conceived and developed their own special, describing and documenting the work carried out. The work was collected in a section of the BMW Motorrad Italia website. The public of enthusiasts had the opportunity to observe how a custom motorcycle is born and above all to vote for the most exciting creation.
At the organized event, a qualified jury of experts awards prizes for:

– the most voted motorcycle online;
– the bike with the best style;
– the bike with more personality;
– the best creative idea;
– the motorcycle that best expresses the tradition and roots of BMW Motorrad.


Thanks to the partnership with Marshall, the event will also be enhanced by the performance of guitarist Maurizio Solieri and the band.

Furthermore, all the motorbikes taking part in the contest, in the following two days of 23 e 24nd June, remain visible to interested enthusiasts in the Mosaic Gallery of Milan Central Station. Free entry is expected from 10:00 to 22:00.
