BMW Motorrad, International GS Trophy: the qualifications to make up the Italian team involved in the 2024 edition

Registrations to take part in the national qualifiers, in view of the event International GS Trophy bound to BMW Motorrad, expected in 2024 in Namibia, are possible from May 15th. The qualifiers are scheduled for July 4th and 5th.

The initiative

The various instructions and the registration form can be found on the portal BMW Motorrad Italy. On a specific site, there is also information on the International GS Trophy itself.

In view of the confrontation in Namibia in 2024, there are plans throughout the year and in different areas of the world fifteen national qualifying matches and also an international session, where several experienced Enduro enthusiasts can showcase their talent.
As already mentioned, from May 15th it is possible to register for the Italian selections scheduled for July. A new opportunity for adventure lovers, after not taking part in the 2022 edition in Albania, for reasons related to the pandemic.

To secure a place in the BMW Motorrad Italia national team it is necessary to pass the technical tests, GPS navigation tests and off-road routes with flying colours. Those who do not live in the fifteen countries where the local selections are scheduled can register for the international qualifiers through which an international team will be created specifically based on this need.

Female motorcyclists are also protagonists in the competition, thanks to dedicated categories. The girls who rank first at national level can access the international qualifiers of their category, from which they will be trained six women's teams who will participate in theInternational GS Trophy in Namibia together with sixteen men's teams.
In comparison, it's challenging overall twenty-two formations and the national qualifiers represent a taste of the future challenge in Namibia.
