BMW Motorrad Days: record attendance for the 2018 edition

Great public success for the BMW Motorrad Days, which took place last weekend in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A beautiful weekend of passion dedicated to two wheels which brought together 35.000 people who were passionate about the German brand.

BMW Motorrad Days: the event

The success of the BMW Motorrad Days is underlined by another significant fact: riders and non-riders who attended the event represented 30 different countries including Brazil, Canada, South Africa, Japan, Russia, United States, China, Korea, Thailand, America Latin and India. During this beautiful three days it was possible to come into contact with 80 exhibitors from the Personalization, Tuning and Accessories areas who presented their new products and the rich program certainly made the visit to the BMW Motorrad Days worthy of note. There were also many VIP guests, such as the actor and documentary maker Hannes Jaenicke, the singer Wincent Weiss and the photographer and adventurer Michael Martin. While spectators were fascinated by the BMW Drift Show with Ritzmann Motorsport, freestyle artists Mattie Griffin and Dirk Manderbach and the wall-of-death spectacle, visitors could take part in the action on two wheels. More than 750 participants enjoyed off-road riding in the Enduro Park and over 170 little guests participated in the Kids Trial Taster Training with electric bicycles. More than 100 unlicensed motorcycling enthusiasts took advantage of the opportunity to learn about this exciting hobby by taking driving lessons under the supervision of a professional. In addition to numerous guided tours through the impressive mountain scenery, the event also featured a motorcycle parade consisting of approximately 200 motorcycles and a classic parade featuring 30 vintage motorcycles.

BMW Motorrad Days: the next edition

The BMW Motorrad Days will return on time in 2019 as well. Preparations for the 19th edition of the BMW Motorrad Days, which will take place from 5 to 7 July next, are already underway.
