The annual edition of the BMW Motorrad Days, in light of the ongoing health emergency and the containment measures of COVID-19 Coronavirus.

During the day, through a short press release, the cancellation of the event scheduled for 2020 was reported, considering the evolution of the health emergency and the measures to contain the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. The 20 edition was scheduled between 3 and 5 July 2020, after the past appointment in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, carried out at the foot of the Zugspitze, in Germany. An occasion in which over 40.000 enthusiasts from different parts of the world took part.
The communication highlighted the need to take care of the guests and participating staff and, albeit with bitterness, the decision by the organizational team of the BMW Motorrad Days “to cancel this year's event”.
Considering the circumstances, it was also specified that it was not possible to continue with the planning given the long timescales. The advance decision, however, makes it easier for guests coming from abroad from a logistical point of view.
Remembering the past edition, in addition to the presence of specimens BMW Motorrad such as Concept R 18 and the futuristic Vision DC, an interesting one had also been introduced BMW R nineT /5. Spaces for entertainment and socialization were planned, allowing you to meet specialists and exceptional guests such as the veteran champion Helmut Dähne or the freestyle experts Mattie Griffin and Alex Le Marseillais.
