BMW Motorrad Concept CE 02: a new vision of mobility on two wheels [PHOTO]

BMW motorcycle concept CE 02 represents a new idea of ​​urban mobility, an alternative and distinctive electric two-wheeled vision.

Design

A minimalist and interesting look. The setup appears simple by looking at the frame, also highlighting a dark area where the two battery units appear, the transmission with silver details and the long and narrow saddle. Then the large disc wheels stand out, recalling the image of a fun bike.
The vision also benefits from a chromatic choice made up of a pair black / silver. The first color recalls the historic BMW motorcycles, but the appearance is enlivened by the presence of matt and shiny surfaces. Then there are the silver colored parts such as the steering plate, then the white graphics and the petrol colored boot straps also stand out. We also highlight a type of technoid typography used as an active design solution, therefore a BMW emblem integrated on the white silicone saddle and near the handlebars. The session is set at 730 mm tall. The colors highlight the essentiality of the shapes with the possibility of further customization via stickers or ribbons.
The appearance is also underlined by the details and technical refinements, such as the black, square headlight with four LED elements. The rear lights instead consist of two small translucent LED leaves placed on the sides of the saddle.
The concept also features a small color screen on the handlebars with visible wiring. The technical aspects are overall contained, considering for example the handlebars and fork which highlight the type of concept, or the single-sided swingarm, the transmission belt and the aforementioned disc wheels 15 inches.

An associated clothing

The equipment designed for those who drive includes two jackets inspired by the latest trends. The variants reflect the style of the vehicle graphics. A casual and practical look.
The pilot's equipment was made possible in collaboration with experts and suppliers in Germany.
The equipment variants for male and female motorcyclists are designed to protect, considering a new GRDXKN® textile printing technology, which allows further protection in the fabrics. An integrated material that creates volume and is consistent in the event of impacts and abrasions. The women's jacket offers a neon orange color of the print through its slightly transparent Windstopp material, while the golden reflective graphics and colorful shades convey style input.
Moving on to the men's jacket, the 3D structure of the print is highlighted. Underlined are the petrol-colored details and the white graphics, in symbiosis with the color scheme of the specimen.

Propulsion system

The vehicle is characterized by compact dimensions and is designed for a youth target, ranging from 16 years old and up. A light electric vehicle with a empty weight of approximately 120 kg, a quickly available torque and a power of 11 kW. We also note a maximum speed of 90 km/h and a range of 90 km (according to WMTC).
