BMW Motorrad: a path of innovation and passion that has continued for 100 years [VIDEO]

A long journey and more to do

The first motorbike BMW, the historical R32, was presented in September 1923, powered by an air-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine. From here began a productive history that attracted the attention of numerous motorcyclists.
Throughout the film, not only the past is mentioned, but also the present and the adoption of electric propulsion, looking forward. Already for this year there are numerous innovations introduced.
For example, the sports car appears among the models visible in the video BMW S1000RR, which has been renewed and evolved for 2023. A sports car characterized by updates regarding the aesthetic and technical aspects. Power now reaches 210 horsepower (154 kW) at 13.750 rpm, an increase of 3 horsepower (2 kW) compared to the previous example; while the torque reaches 113 Nm at 11.000 rpm.
The exclusive celebratory models also appeared in the initial section BMW R nineT 100 Years e BMW R 18 100 Years. Limited edition motorcycle, 1.923 units planned and recognizable by their elegant and distinctive liveries.
Equally interesting are the new sports two-wheeled vehicles bearing the M logo: the renewed one BMW M1000RR for 2023 and the new one BMW M 1000 R. Two different but always performing models. The first is a faired motorcycle with a power of 212 horsepower (156 kW) at 14.500 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11.000 rpm, while the second is a roadster with a power of 210 horsepower (154 kW) at 13.750 rpm and a torque that always reaches 113 Nm at 11.000 rpm.
