BMW Motorrad: new colors announced for 2011 models

BMW's Motorrad division has officially announced the new colors that will be supplied for various vehicles in their 2011 Model Year version. All these options will be available at all dealers of the Bavarian company.

BMW F 800 ST
The F 800 ST MY 2011 will be available in two new colours:
• Metallic Sapphire Black
• Lightgrey met./Black Sapphire met./Granite Gray met.
The colors Champagne Metallic and Midnight Blue Metallic are no longer available.

BMW F 800 R
Three new colors will be available for the F 800 R MY 2011:
• Metallic Brilliant Yellow / Brilliant Black
• Metallic Granite Gray / Brilliant Black
• Alpinewhite/Metallic Lupine Blue/Magma Red
The colors Fire Orange and Whitealuminium metallic are no longer available.
The “Chris Pfeiffer Edition” package will no longer be in production.
The current Alpinewhite / Brilliant Black colorway continues to be available.

BMW K 1300 S.
The K 1300 S MY2 011 will have two new colors:
• Magma Red metallic / Black Sapphire metallic
• Lupine Blue met./Alpinewhite/Sapphire Black met.
The Granite Gray met./Sapphire Black met./Magma Red met. and Lavaorange Metallic are no longer available.
The current colorway Lightgrey metallic remains available.

BMW K 1300 R.
Two new colors are also available for the K 1300 R:
• Metallic Acid Green / Brilliant Black
• Brilliant Black / Metallic Granite Grey
The colors Lavaorange Metallic and Silk Metallic are no longer available.
The current colorway Lightgrey metallic remains available.

BMW S1000RR
From the 2011 model year, the BMW S 1000 RR is also available in two new color schemes:
• Sun yellow
• Light gray metallic
The colors Mineral silver metallic and Acid green metallic are no longer available.
Current Alpinewhite / Lupine Blue / Magma Red and Thunder Gray metallic colorways remain available.

BMW R 1200 RT
Small updates also for the R 1200 RT, Model Year 2011, in which the Audio platform - available as an option ex factory - will be updated with some new functions: the system is now equipped with a Bluetooth system, while the navigation menu has been optimized .
