BMW: the BMW and MINI two-wheeled solutions for urban mobility [PHOTO]

The alternative forms of city mobility signed BMW e MINI include style, technology and functionality, opting between a electric scooter or various specimens of bike.

Various possibilities

It is possible to purchase alternative mobility solutions at BMW Group Dealerships and Service Centers, or through the online shops of the brands indicated. In the case of 3T FOR BMW bikes, it should be noted that they can be purchased from selected BMW retailers and 3T Experience Centers.

BMW

Starting from the means linked to the Bavarian brand, a collaboration with Micro Mobility Systems allowed the development of BMW E-Scooter. A lightweight scooter with two separate braking systems and integrated front and rear lights. The reported weight amounts to nine kilograms and can be folded. The 150 watt motor and lithium ion battery are integrated into the footboard and rear wheel. According to the indications, two hours are needed to fully recharge the battery and the estimated autonomy amounts to twelve kilometers, reaching a maximum speed of 20 km/h, taking up the information.
Moving on to bicycles, the BMW Cruise Bike takes cues from the fixie scene noting the slim chassis “courtesy of Designworks, the BMW Group's design innovation studio.” This example offers a certain comfort and features a seven-speed Shimano Nexus gearbox, to support the overall dynamism.
Recognizable by its sporty style highlighted by the matte black paint and stripes in the M Motorsport color scheme, the BMW M Bike it refers to the determination of the cars marked with the M note of the Bavarian brand. Fork, spacers and seat post are developed in carbon fiber, so it features an eleven-speed Shimano SLX / XT group.
La BMW Urban Active Bike is optimized for daily use, taking into account a slim frame design and a rather compact battery, while for greater mileage the BMW Active Hybrid E-Bike which features a Brose Drive S Alu motor and a 600 Wh lithium-ion battery. If we then focus on functionality, also when talking about dimensions, the connotative folding mechanism of the BMW Folding Bike is highlighted.
Speaking of all-road bikes, however, there is the exemplary one 3T FOR BMW. An urban gravel bike created in collaboration with the Italian company 3T and forged on the basis of the well-known Exploro model. It is distinguishable by the aerodynamic carbon frame, aerodynamic carbon cranks, very light and made in Italy in the 3T carbon factory, then Brooks leather handlebar tape, Brooks leather saddle, Fulcrum alloy wheels and Schwalbe One Speed ​​tyres. Also highlighted is a Shimano GRX group designed for gravel bikes.

MINI

La MINI folding bike it is a folding bicycle with contemporary design and a functional setup, keeping in mind a mechanism that allows the lightweight aluminum frame to be folded and reopened in a few moments. The Teflon coating of the chain protects it from rust and dirt, as reported. Mudguards are also highlighted at the front and rear. Among other aspects: a low weight of under eleven kg, 20-inch wheels, eight gears and a padded leather saddle, as reported.

The figures suggested to the public, VAT included, starting with bicycles are: MINI Folding Bike 655,00 euros; BMW Folding Bike 775,00 euros, BMW Cruise Bike Silver 1.140,00 euros available in blue and silver; BMW M Bike 1.555,00 euros, 3T FOR BMW 5.499,00 euros proposed in grey/grey and grey/blue.
Moving on to e-bikes (VAT incl.): BMW Urban Hybrid e-Bike 2.590,00 euros; BMW Active Hybrid e-Bike 3.625,00 euros.
For the BMW E-scooter electric scooter the price is 825,00 euros (VAT incl.).
