BMW K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition, the new touring experience

With the new special model K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition, BMW Motorrad invites its customers to enjoy a new experience in the "Touring" sector. The finishes have been further improved. Thanks to its equipment, the K1300GT Exclusive Edition has a greater vocation for travel and comfort is pushed to the highest levels.

Powered by an excellent 118 kW (160 HP) engine, the K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition boasts heated grips and seat, a xenon headlight which allows excellent visibility when driving at night, therefore greater visual comfort and active safety. The on-board computer provides all the travel data: range, external temperature and average fuel consumption, and is equipped with an electronic system for speed control for long motorway stretches.

Thanks to ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment II), which equips the K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition, the suspension actively adapts to driving and load requirements. By pressing a button on the handlebar, the rider can conveniently adapt the calibration of the shock absorbers, the preload of the rear suspension, as well as the response and therefore its stiffness according to the weight carried: rider, passenger and luggage.

The ASC (Automatic Stability Control) contributes significantly to active safety, the electronic anti-skid system in fact manages the power transmitted to the rear wheel, helping the rider on road surfaces with a low grip coefficient by reducing the power supplied. Another element that contributes to active safety is the RDC (Tyre Pressure Monitor) electronic tire pressure control system.

The K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition has a high load volume. Thanks to the three bags it is excellently equipped for long journeys: side bags and 49-litre top case with lock and lid finish in body colour.

The Granite Gray metallic paintwork, with contrasting matt Granite Gray metallic trim on the tank side fairings and seat fairings, as well as the blue model badge emphasize the refined and exclusive character of the K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition.

The K 1300 GT Exclusive Edition is available immediately at BMW Motorrad dealers. The price of the Exclusive Edition package is 1.650 Euros. The motorbike thus equipped has a list price of 20.550 Euro CIM including the first service.
