Does BMW have a K1600R in the works?

In home BMW they are most likely thinking about the next one K1600R, an aggressively styled motorcycle suitable for long distances and travel. There are still no official clues on the matter but it is almost natural to think so after the motorcyclists have given more than positive feedback on the Concept 6, the naked proposal by BMW and which was then mass produced becoming the K1600GT and GTL, a Gran Turismo that recently landed on the German motorcycle manufacturer's global price lists.

The concept could now give life to a real oversized nike, which is currently represented by K1300R, to which two cylinders would be added to the engine, making it go from 4 to 6 cylinders in line. The engine and frame would not be distorted compared to the now classic characteristics of the K series, as would the distinctive front fork. Furthermore, it would also be an economic efficiency move aimed at amortising the production costs of the concept 6 which can hardly be covered by a niche model like the K-GT.
