BMW Group: the proposal of special models for the Authorities

Several vehicles presented BMW two- and four-wheeled with one special setup, designed for representatives of the police forces and public administration. An exhibition which took place on Friday 11 March at the BMW Roma Urban Store in Rome in via Barberini, BMW Italia, in collaboration with the managers of BMW AG. A proposal that comes to life directly in the factory with the necessary special equipment, including provision for service radios and light and acoustic signaling systems.

The vehicles

There are a total of six vehicles shown on the occasion, including cars BMW Serie 1 equipped with the necessary special equipment and with a double livery, indicating a hypothetical configuration for the Italian Police and for the Carabinieri. Together with the compact also the SAV BMW X5 Protection VR6, an armored version and always in special configuration.

Moving on to the motorbikes, the BMW R 1250 RT-P, a historic representative among the motorcycles supplied. The new and futuristic electric scooter is also interesting BMW CE 04-P, also introduced before its commercial launch in a special service variant. Among the examples also the versatile enduro BMW F 850 ​​GS-P, functional on the road and also in case of patrolling on dirt roads or terrains other than asphalt, finally the crossover BMW F 900 XR-P based on the F 900 XR introduced by BMW Motorrad in 2020, another novelty considering the special setup.
