Aesthetic grit and agility are characterizing aspects of the BMW G 310 R., evolved and equipped with a EU-5 approved heart.

Features

Starting with the style, they stand out two basic colors and an exclusive variant "Sports". An appearance reminiscent of the most roaring BMW S 1000 R. considering precisely the peculiar color combination with engine crankcase covers for the alternator, clutch and cooling pump, as well as the footrest plate and rear handle in Titanium Gray Metallic.
Together with a dye Cosmic Black a variant is proposed Polar White, which in addition to the thematic decorations in blue offers a lively and distinctive perspective of the traditional BMW-related colors. On the other version Sport there is a Limestone Metallic base color and a red "R" graphic stands out on the side panels of the fairing, in addition to the red shade on the frame and wheels. A distinctly bold look.
Among other aspects highlighted, a new lighthouse is highlighted LED with LED directional indicators added to the rear LED lights. The new headlight unit projects clear and uniform illumination, as indicated. The brightness functions can be managed using the control blocks on the left handlebar.
There are also handlebar levers for brake and clutch adjustable in four positions. Position 3 of the brake lever adjustment matches the lever distance of the previous model. In first position the brake lever is 6 mm closer to the handlebars, according to the indications.

Engine and technique

The heart EU-5 approved of the renewal BMW G 310 R. It is a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine 313 cc four valves, two overhead camshafts and electronic injection.
Peculiar to this unit are the cylinder head rotated 180 degrees with the intake at the front with the exhaust at the rear and the inclination of the cylinder towards the rear. An engine equipped with an electronic throttle, an electronic throttle actuator, for an even more direct response. The automatic increase in idle speed prevents any sudden damping, as indicated. The new features also include a self-reinforcing anti-slipper clutch for driving safety. Returning to the engine, the reported power is 34 horses (25 kW) at 9.500 rpm with a torque peak of 28 Nm at 7.500 rpm.
