BMW F 850 ​​GS Adventure: official presentation [VIDEO]

After the presentation to the press in Sardinia, in which we also participated (here the news), BMW has published an official presentation video of the new Bavarian motorcycle.

Some technical information on the new one BMW F 850 ​​GS Adventure. The motorbike from the Elica company is equipped with an engine twin cylinder liquid-cooled in-line, dispenses 95 CV (70 KW) at 8.250 rpm, the torque is 92 Nm at 6.250 rpm. The positioning of the crankshaft has been radically revised, now lower and slightly further forward and it is also equipped with two balancer shafts, which reduce vibrations and improve driving pleasure. For greater off-road responsiveness, the first two gears were then shortened. As standard two mappings: Road and Rain, accompanied by ABS ed ASC, while the more advanced Dynamic, Pro, Enduro and Enduro Pro mappings are optional together with ABS PRO and DTC. The tank capacity is 23 L, with a range of over 550 km. The engine is Euro 5 ready, therefore ahead of the entry into force of the European anti-pollution legislation (scheduled for 2020). The frame is characterized by a steel bridge structure that uses the engine as a load-bearing element, offering benefits in terms of torsional rigidity and robustness. The position of the tank and the riding position have been revised. The suspensions are branded ZF, and have a travel of 230 mm at the front and 215 mm at the rear. The standard equipment is completed by the engine protection brackets, the stainless steel bag support, the distance-adjustable gear lever and brake pedal. The starting price is 13.900 euros.
