BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept: style, electric mobility and passion for surfing

The electric scooter BMW EC 04 it is the model on which a customization project took shape. In collaboration with BMW Motorrad Austria in Salzburg, the customization specialist Vagabund Moto GmbH from Graz gave shape to the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept, a model characterized by elements that expand its functionality.

The project

Customization specialists usually work on examples of the Heritage range, specifically the BMW R 18 e RnineT. Instead, on this occasion it is on the futuristic electric scooter that this new work by the specialist Vagabund Moto GmbH is based.

According to the information, following the principle “Action meets Fashion” (“Action meets fashion”), the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept it is equipped with a top case to increase the load space already present and also an integrated transport system with a surfboard visible along the right side.

The combined colors are also characteristic considering the parts covered in white, dark green, beige and black; as are the functional elements within a distinctive, futuristic design, designed for a young audience. For example, a smiley face stands out on the front wheel hub, a detail that also returns when looking at the directional indicators.

From a technical point of view, the scooter's values ​​remain confirmed BMW EC 04, whose power amounts to 31 kW corresponding to 42 horsepower. An autonomy of 130 km is reported (according to WMTC) with a charging time of 65 minutes from 0% to 80%, using an optional fast charger at maximum charge level.
