Bitubo, technical customization packages for Yamaha T-MaxBitubo, technical customization packages for Yamaha T-Max

Bitubo is the name of a manufacturer of motorcycle suspensions: the Bitubo Shock Absorber House was born in 1963, in the Padua area, and established itself, over the years, for a series of innovative and excellent quality products.

Bitubo has created a series of kits for the Yamaha T-Max scooter (specifically, for the versions marketed from 2008 to today) capable of giving the well-known Japanese two-wheeler stability and agility, without, however, distorting the basic characteristics that they decreed success.

For the Yamaha T-Max forks, Bitubo has created a specific package, called ABB09: these are pressurized nitrogen cartridges, adjustable, capable of eliminating annoying and dangerous "bottom out" of the fork, thus giving the possibility of riding dynamically, always in maximum safety. The spring preload adjustments are made through Ergal "caps", which replace the original ones, allowing you to modify the height as desired to suit your movement style.

However, for those who do not wish to opt for the complete cartridge package, but only wish to replace the original Yamaha T-Max fork springs with other Bitubo ones suitable for their weight, the "MF" kit is offered, which includes steel springs Cr-Si bond and Silkolene oil with variable viscosity, capable of working in perfect harmony with the elements.

For the rear shock absorber of the Yamaha T-Max, however, Bitubo has studied a racing mono, indicated by the name HZM11, with a separate compensation chamber with external adjustment. The HZM11 mono has a variable wheelbase and the possibility of modifying the compression, rebound and spring preload adjustments, together with a pleasant appearance, the result of a design study.
