Bimota KB4: a pre-production example is expected for the summer

Together with the Bimota TESI H2, the first result of the new bond that unites the Rimini brand and Kawasaki, introduced on the occasion of EICMA; there was also talk of another named specimen KB4.

Taking up what was reported by colleagues at MCN (MotorCycleNews), reporting the words of a Bimota spokesperson, the proposed KB4 could be shown this summer in pre-production format. A first test of the prototype would take place on the road already during the spring, always considering these indications and forecasting “reasonably” a pre-production example just for the summer.
We also talk about a certain tradition not only from an aesthetic point of view, but also conceptually. An intent pursued by the technicians themselves, giving shape to an example that recalls a motorcycle 600 cc with the power of a 1000 cc, considering again the words reported. The style would be connotative, recalling for example the historical KB1 signed by legendary Massimo Tamburini. Moving on to the engine, it could be an inline four-cylinder 1.043 cc similar to that of the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX. A unit that proposes 142 horses of power a 10.000 rpm e 111 Nm of torque a 8.000 rpm, following the reported data. Heart that would be accompanied by a series of electronic systems of origin Kawasaki.
