Bimota and Audax1000, a 1000 km long motorcycle granfondo
On a motorbike for 4 days and in 4 regions, with Bimota leading the way
Just a few hours ago the 2014 edition of Audax1000, an event of the granfondo championship which he held for the first time Bimota as a technical partner and it was an incredible success.
The forerunner of the four-day race was a special Bimota, one 3D Naked Thesis completely branded Audax1000.
Also present at the start of the first stage Daniele Longoni, one of the new owners of Bimota, who expressed support for an event like Audax1000 where the motorbike is experienced while respecting the road and safety regulations.
The other Bimotas available to the organizers were compared with 1000 km traveled in four regions, on completely new routes, narrow hilly roads, in the pouring rain and along wonderful itineraries.
An excellent rider took part in the race riding the Bimota DB10: the legendary Enrico “Tarzan” Annoni, unforgettable Italian football champion.
Audax1000 was an event for truly daring people with a pronounced spirit of adventure.
Bimota thanks the entire organization, starting with Massimo Tamburelli, creator and patron of the event, the Moto Club Varzi, the IMF, the race management and all the participants who made this experience incredible and unforgettable.
