It will be produced in small numbers
At the motorcycle show EICMA 2022 there is also Milan Bimota, which introduced a new off-road-focused enduro model under the name of Motor BX450. Based on Kawasaki KX450X, is not a cross bike, but a real competition enduro.
The technicians of the Italian brand worked with the KX450 platform, starting from the aluminum frame which houses a 449cc four-valve single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling.
It weighs just over 110kg and has a larger fuel tank
In the Bimota BX450, the engine has a new electric starter, a more advanced control unit with specific mapping, an Arrow exhaust system and a traction control system.
Unfortunately, Bimota hasn't released any performance information on the new enduro bike, but claims it boasts a weight of 110,2 kg, a 10,7 liter fuel tank (vs 6,2 liters on the Kawasaki KX450X), a new headlight and new colors.
Bimota has retained the original Japanese suspension and features a 49 mm Showa upside-down fork that can be fully adjusted and is combined with a Showa monoshock with 307 mm travel.
There is no shortage of Metzeler Six Days tyres and a ground clearance of 335 mm. Like most models of the Italian motorcycle brand, the Bimota BX450 is also expected to be produced in few specimens.
