Biker Fest International: a 37th edition to remember

The recent edition of Biker Fest International recorded a large flow of presences in the five areas of the event, including enthusiasts and curious people. A notable result which underlines the success of the formula, capable of attracting motorcycle and motor enthusiasts from various areas to Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD). A number of 120.000 motor lovers and tourists, as indicated.

An event where the passion for engines is the protagonist

La 37 edition was closed with a new great goal achieved, which follows the good results already achieved in the past. A crowd of enthusiasts filled the five areas of the event, ranging from the Village to the Demo Ride area. Interested enthusiasts will be able to experience similar emotions again in the next appointment with the Italian Bike Week from 14 to 17 September, also in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD). An event that closes the season.

Returning to Biker Fest International, on this occasion the “seven pillars” which make this event interesting. We start from the concept "family", given that this event is organized by a passionate family, the Persellos, linked to motorbikes and the world of bikers. The Biker Fest International itself is aimed at a family, the extended family of motorcyclists and enthusiasts, who liven up the party.

Another pillar is the "tradition", recalling the first international gathering aimed at motorcyclists organized by Moreno Persello in 1987. A motorcyclist who turned his passion into a profession in his career as an editor. An almost forty-year history of custom work and culture translated into a well-known outdoor event.
Another fundamental piece is “the experience”, with a Village that represents the fulcrum of the event, in addition to the emotions experienced during the Demo Rides, the Mototours and during the Saturday Light Fever parade along the streets of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

Another crucial element is the “Custom Bike Show”, the international contest reserved for professionals in this field which represents a strong attraction for enthusiasts. The Custom Bike Show is the final of the Italian Motorcycle Championship (IMC) and the only Italian date of the World Championship of Custom Bike Building organized by AMD (American Motorcycle Dealer). Conceived in 1987, this moment of the Biker Fest International is the most historic contest in the sector at a European level, as mentioned.

Highlights too “the participation of motorcycle manufacturers”, well-known names present at the event with numerous test rides carried out. 4.000 road tests reported with a Demo Ride area livened up by enthusiasts. Jawa is also among the names present in 2023, with its announced return to the Italian market.
Also mentioned "the territory", given that this event is based in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Since 2012 it has taken place in the seaside resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
Finally let's start “heterogeneity and inclusion”. Keeping in mind the motto "Welcome Bikers" and the slogan "Rally-Race-Rock Festival", over time the organizers have been able to make the rally a great motoring festival, with the arrival of custom enthusiasts and also motorcyclists and different types, as well as cars and in the more recent period also electric vehicles.
