Regarding the European Parliament's policy act, as reported in a note released by Confindustria ANCMA (National Association of Cycle and Motorcycle Accessories), the president Paolo Magri highlighted the “good result of a work carried out also thanks to the precious action of the European association CONEBI. That of the European Parliament is a strong act, which constitutes the beginning of a process of dialogue also with the national government, which we hope will be concrete and profitable, especially for our country which, with over 20%, firmly holds first place in the Eurozone by production".
Returning to the note on the document, the European Commission and Member States are urged to consider the contribution of the cycling industry to the European economy and the potential for growth. The European Parliament highlights the need for greater support from the EU for investments in the sector, aimed at encouraging “reshoring and protection processes of supply chains, the creation of cycling clusters and professional training”, depending on competitiveness.
