The rebaptized "Bike bonus", connected to relaunch decree, is the announced incentive measure for the purchase of sustainable mobility vehicles, varying from bicycles o e-bike, electric scooters, as well as hoverboard, monowheel e segway. We talk at most 500 euro with coverage of 60% of the expense, as reported.

The bonus

The allocation foreseen for this area amounts to 120 million euros, from what has emerged. The “mobility bonus”, adopted in a period of reduced capacity on public transport in the so-called “Phase 2”, results al maximum of 500 euros, covering up to 60% of the expense. It is also retroactive, starting from 4 May 2020 until 31 December 2020. Furthermore, the benefit can only be requested once, according to the methods indicated by the decree.

Advanced house and bike lane

The text of the relaunch decree it also concerns the Highway Code. Among the notable introductions: the advanced house , cycle lane. The first is an advanced stop line, at least three meters compared to those of other vehicles, designed for bicycles and on roads with a speed limit of up to 50 km/h. The second is a space created on the right in the lane and delimited by a discontinuous white stripe marked by the symbol of a bicycle to allow the circulation of these vehicles in the same direction of travel.

Who is the bonus aimed at?

Only interested in resident adult citizens in municipalities with over 50.000 inhabitants or in any case in metropolitan cities, provincial and regional capitals. This, following the indications, would not include several commuters, students or off-site workers domiciled but not resident in the places considered.
